Born in Homs, Syria on the 25th of Sep 1980
Started playing guitar in 1995
First live show was with Sphinx in 1998
Left Sphinx (Syria) and joined Neo Blood in Lebanon
The creator of The Hourglass and the writer and producer of To the Land of the Free
Making his MS in marketing in Lebanon
Major influences: iron maiden, savatage, arb3.maktoob.comarb3.maktoob.comarb3.maktoob.comar b3.maktoob.comllica, candlemass.
Uses Ibanez guitars, boss effects

Bassem:
Born in Beirut, Lebanon on the 28th of Nov 1977
Started singing and playing guitar in 1993
Formed Blaakyum in 1995 released single Am I Black 1998 www.blaakyum.com
In addition to The Hourglass he's singing with a cover band Communion
Graduate of psychology and classic chant
Major influences: Dio, dicknison, hetfield, halford

Bahij:
Born in homs, Syria 28 Oct 1985
Started playing on drums in 1999
To the land of the free was his first real experience in music world
Studying business administration
Major influences: arb3.maktoob.comarb3.maktoob.comarb3.maktoob.comar b3.maktoob.comllica, savatage, iced earth, candlemass

I am working now on the second album. I think it will be called "Resurrection of the Horrid Dream". The same style of music and concept. It will be a continuity for the debut. I hope you like "To the land of the Free" because I really worked hard on it. I will release nearly 700 Cds into the Syrian and Lebanese market. Most of the fans considered track 3, Holy Rage, the best on the album. Non-arb3.maktoob.comarb3.maktoob.comarb3.maktoob.comar b3.maktoob.coml fans considered tracks 8, Final Departure Stamp, and 11, the Land of the Free, the best 2 tracks on the album. I personally love tracks 6, Ancient Hope, and 9, Deceptive Light, and my last 2:30 min solo on 8, Final Departure Stamp.
