Sitting alone thinking of my friend, someone whom entered my life
and happiness she sends...
the smile on her face the blue in her eyes has my heart pounding for I realize...

that god has sent me an angel so lovely as she, makes each day
bright and perfect for me...
to hold her in my arms to kiss her sweet lips the thought sends me
doing crazy flips...

to be beside her to go a step more, a secret between us i would
adore...

ling and attraction between her and I, oh what a natural

I can't say its right we both know it is wrong , but a rush and
experience we are

When i needed someone to dry my tears,

When my world crashed down around me,

For being able to understand,
I never had to say a word,
You knew just when to lend a hand,

!Note - I changed all the personal pronouns (I) into small letters (i). Normally they would be capitlised but I think it makes the statement - this poem is about you sis.

I put "Thank you" into quotes to highlight the fact that it is the main theme of the poem.

To learners:-

When writing poetry or songs a lot of the rules of English can be suspended for dramatic effect. Slang / short forms / capitalisation and punctuation are thrown to the wind for the sake of the art.

wanna = slang for want to

thru = slang for through

'Coz = slang for because - you can also use "cause" but that has a meaning of its own so I prefer 'coz

A friend is been with you through it all
a friend picks you up when you would fall
a friend makes you smile when your upset
this person will be the one you won't forget

someone you can trust with your life and such
someone you appreciate so very much
a friend is someone with you through thick and thin
even if it means loosing another friend

a friend is someone who is always there
no matter what they will always care
a friend is someone who knows you so great
they know who you like, love, and hate

a friend will back you up no matter what goes down
making sure you don't leave with a frown
a friend is someone you can act like you
act like yourself and do the things you do

you are the girl i owe everything to
you really are a dream come true
me and you have such fun together
i hope we're best friends always and forever!
