I would like to know your opinion about the English language accents(American and British)Q
(1)
I mean do you like to hear and watch American or British programmes ; wether news, TV shows , movies , comedy shows?1
(2)
What about in real life? Do you like to attend an American or British lectures? I mean which accent is more obvious for you ? And you can undrstand it very clearly?1
Please, share with us your opinions and we will see the majority goes to which ACCENT!1

for me it's ok both of them i can understand it...b
but i like american accent and that is my accent too

For me , I prefer amerrican accent to hear .. I enjoy their movies more than the

british .. On the other hand , I spesk british because i find it easier ..

Seems like American accent is more popular up to NOW
For me .... Honestly, I do like american movies, bt it doesn't mean that I understand them very clearly , coz now I have a habit to read the translations at d bottom of the screen and try to follow what they r saying which is kinda difficult.
In real life , both american and british are OK ; but I understand much clearly with British accent (Standard English)1

I had American teachers when I was in college and like every body else..I watch American movies..so I understand American English better..but I never try to sound like I might be American because what's important to me is speaking good English

Yeah , thats a nice skill to go over it. But, you need to focus and concentrate very well and so that to catch the key words at the begaining and improve our undersating and listening by time. Thank you for the tip , dear sister

sniper..from what u just wrote..i dont think u have any problem with enlighs..i think ur doing great..about the translation u read when watching movies..it tend to be more like a habit then to try to catch up like u say.most of the people read the tranlation as a curious perosn to see what the arabian translator wrote.a7yanan bala2ee nas mtargmeen aflam '3ala6..mara i bought a dvd..e elle mtargem..margem el film kolo '3ala6.i kept laughing the translation rather than the movie it elf lol..

ama about answering u..i actually prefer the american accent..but i think the british is more elegant n formal.

Regarding your comment about the "Movie Translation" ; lol yeah ... they are some words which are translated incorrectly which sound like a SLANG. But, I haven't experience abt what you are talking about ; that allmost the whole translation is wrong .... lol dats so funny and actually it is a good skill to notice that.
Yeah I do agree with you by saying that British accent is more elegent and formal than American accent. Because usually Americans don't follow and apply the grammatical language as much as British
